Children ages 3-5 participate in a variety of motor development activities including the low balance beam, child single bar, and trampoline. The Teddy Tumble Bear curriculum includes motor movement skills and rhythmic activities as well as learning skills on the low balance beam, child single bar and trampoline. Every two weeks students will learn a new tumbling skill while continuing to work on skills learned previously. Tumbling circuits are setup so wait time is eliminated. Every few months a special theme week is included in the Teddy Tumble bear gymnastic curriculum. The activities focus on strengthening locomotor skills and improving balance, flexibility and body control. Social concepts such as taking turns, following directions, and working with a group are emphasized. Teddy Tumble Bear is fun! (Each class is 60 minutes)
